Question
We are 4 adults/3 children (ages 11-13).  Three of us are single mothers w/children and are trying to find an inexpensive place to stay 2 days before our cruise (Carnival cruise leaving March 11th-18th).  We would like an inexpensive place that can shuttle us from the airport to motel and motel to the Port of Miami, is there such a thing?

Answer
March is our "season" so rooms are not as inexpensive as during the summer months, but, you'll still be able to get good prices.

For the most up to date info, I want to send you to

CRUISECRITIC.COM.  This site is incredible.  You will need to become a member (free) then you can log into the Carnival site, from there you can post your question.  There are many hotels close to the port, the Marriott, Hilton, less expensive is the Howard Johnsons.  All offer views of the port and your ship from your window.

Priceline.com is also a site you can use to get less expensive rooms, however.....once you book, YOU CANNOT CHANGE ANYTHING.  We have stayed at the Marriott in Miami for $50 thru priceline.

Please try the cruisecritic.com site and if you still don't find what you're looking for, e mail me back and I'll get on the phone and see what I can do for you.  You're going to have a great time.  Carnival has great programs for the kids so you and friends will have time to enjoy yourself minus the kids.
