Question I have a Qustion about Sphagnum Moss, can dead sphagnum moss turn into live
sphagnum moss, if can how long does it take for it to grow a new live
sphagnum moss in a 6 inch pot?

My experience has been that Chilean sphagnum doesn't seem to contain live spores. However, the New Zealand sphagnum does, and will grow live moss from the dried. If you keep it wet and cool you should see some live moss in about 2 months.
