Question
Hello its spring time and I manage to do it again this year.
I covered my cobra plants during winter they were green in color in the start and just when it got a little bit warm then back to cool weather in late March they dried up it could had been the sudden change in temperature I'm not sure. The other day I pulled one of stolons up to check it out. The roots they where intact replanted the stolen I can only imagine at another time I will see some new growth. There is two or three new off shoots from another mother stolen.I also trimmed the brow leave off. I wish you had more details on propagation of this plant in video #1..
What to do in the upcoming days ahead? I live in Takoma Park,MD.

Hi Rickey,
It mostly sounds like you're just seeing older pitchers from last season dying off which happens this time of year. It often takes Darlingtonia until mid to late May to really get going. We are just now seeing flowers and tiny new pitchers developing on older plants. If you are seeing nice white and red stolons, the plants are doing fine. Just give them some time. Here in Oregon we usually see our first new open pitchers around June first.
