Question
I recently received a Venus Fly Trap and a Venus Dente. Both are still in the pots they arrived in. Should I repot them immediately or wait for them to grow a bit? They will be outside on my patio and get lots of sunlight.
If I do repot them, what size pot would you recommend?
Hi Rusty,
The best time to repot flytraps is in early spring, such as right now. This will give your plants ample time to recover from root disturbance before they get into peak growing season. For pot size, go with either a 4-inch or 5-inch pot.
