Answer
Hi Bryan,

First I want to say congratulations on getting any of the seeds to grow in one of those kits.  You are part of a proud, but very small minority.

Your seedlings are Sarracenia pitcher plants.  I can't totally be sure of the species, but since even at a young age they are staying very upright, they could be Sarracenia flava, Yellow Trumpets.

Thank-you for the compliment on the website.  We really do try hard to make it user friendly and help people be successful.

I'll talk to Jacob about posting pictures of different seedlings.  That's a great idea.  I will say, however, even with that it will be very hard to tell different Sarracenia species apart, and nearly impossible to i.d. hybrids.  They're hard enough as adult plants.

If you don't have it already, our DVD, "Grow Carnivorous Plants volume 1" has a great chapter on growing North American cp from seeds.  Information in on our homepage.

Good Growing!

We no longer answer how-to questions (i.e. How do I propagate...?; How do I grow...?).

Instead, we help growers by diagnosing a specific plant problem and offering solutions (i.e. Why is my sundew not producing dew?; Is now a good time to divide my Sarracenia?; Why are the traps turning black?; What's a good substitute for perlite?; Why didn't my seeds germinate?; Can you identify this carnivorous plant for me?)
