Carnivorous Plants/Can a Cape Sundew produce dew?

Allexperts,
I have a question about whether or not a Cape sundew can reproduce dew, on leaves that once had dew on them. I had the sundew growing inside. I have now brought it outside. Should I cut off the leaves that aren't produceing dew. Do to the fact that it is still acclimating to the outside temps which have been in around 85-90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Hi Weylin,
When you transition a plant from inside to out, they usually go through a transition period. It's very normal for leaves to burn some. Just cut those off. When the new ones grow they will be darker, stronger and more full of dew than before. I would recommend (I don't remember where you live) that you try and position your plant so it gets a little shade in the late afternoon, or nestle it among other plants like taller Sarracenia. Cape Sundews like it a little cooler if temperatures start getting into the 90's for long periods.
