Why does my Tarnok have brown edges on its pitcher lid?

Hi Ethan,
Thank-you for sending the photo. It totally helped me to understand what was going on with your plants.
Here's the short answer to your questions. Your set-up for your plants is a little like trying to grow a cornstalk in a 3 inch pot in a bathroom next to a nightlight. This looks like halogen desk lamp. They are way too hot and of the wrong spectrum for plant growing. You also have your plants in an undrained container. They need to be in containers that have drain holes. Let's get you headed the right direction.
First, you'll be able to use the same soil. If it's our mix it will work for all these plants.
1. Transplant the flytrap and and the S. leucophylla tarnok to a single four inch pot. Make sure the media is well saturated with water before you use it. Place the pot outside in a sunny (full sun) location. Make sure the pot is sitting in a shallow tray of water. Initially, the leaves will burn, but that's ok. Just cut them off when that happens. New ones will emerge strong and healthy. Protect the pot some if you have thunderstorms that may wash the soil out of the pot.
2. Transplant the Nepenthes ventricosa to a four inch pot also, but place this in a sunny window in your house. Water the plant twice a week. Water until water runs off in the tray, but the plant shouldn't sit in water long term. Give it time. It will take about two months for it to start producing pitchers again.
