Question
QUESTION: Hi there I plan on making a nepenthes shade cloth greenhouse and I want to make sure everything is planed correctly.I will be using 30percent shade cloth,But here is where it gets serious the plant list.I am planing on putting there  N.sanguinea,N.ventricosa,N.truncata,N.rafflesiana,N.veitchii, N.ampullaria,N.northiana,N.ventrata,N.madagascarensis,and N.miranda.Do you think they will grow well together.I live in Puerto Rico,Isabela near the beach.

ANSWER: Hi Yulian,

Those species should grow like weeds in your climate.  As a matter of fact, the only varieties that would be problematic would be the ultra-highlanders.

Hi Yulian,

Which ever place has the cooler nights, that is where you want your Cephalotus.

Just keep checking the website.  I'm not sure when truncata will be available.

We no longer answer how-to questions (i.e. How do I propagate...?; How do I grow...?).

Instead, we help growers by diagnosing a specific plant problem and offering solutions (i.e. Why is my sundew not producing dew?; Is now a good time to divide my Sarracenia?; Why are the traps turning black?; What's a good substitute for perlite?; Why didn't my seeds germinate?; Can you identify this carnivorous plant for me?)
