Question
Allexperts,
I need to clarify something about the Aphrodite dormancy. In the dvd it said that if you keep the soil wet and light level high it will skip its dormancy, is that correct? Also can I use artificial light to help advert its dormancy? Thank you for your time.

Hi Weylin,
It's been our experience that P. x Aphrodite doesn't go dormant if kept moist and warm. We have a large one in the house mounted in a rock in a fountain that never goes dormant. In the greenhouse they do sometimes, but temperatures in there are much lower during the winter. Keeping the photoperiod long with artificial light will also help.
