Hi! A few weeks back I bumped into a topic asking you about smaller nepenthes leaves and no pitchers. Mine were having the same problem and your advice was to fertilize them with 1/4 strength orchid fertilizer once a week and it worked after a few weeks. Is it OK if I fertilize them now as They're forming pitchers and bigger leaves?
Hi Tan,
It is. Once you have open pitchers, and they are catching bugs, back off the fertilizer to once a month, or not at all. Too much fertilizer and you'll have nice big green leaves with little or no pitchers.
