Carnivorous Plants/Sulfer based fungicide

Question
I am switching to a stronger sulfur based fungicide for the winter dormancy period.  ( I have a wide variety of temperate plants that include sarracenia, drosera, and dionea).  I am not sure about the dilution rate.  The instructions on the bag include a dilution rate for rose and ornamental flowers.  The dilution rate for the roses is 2.5 tbsp per gallon of water.  Do i follow the rates for the roses or cut back a little more.        Also out of curiosity, when does cobraplants.com start posting their seeds again?             Thanx for the time, I appreciate it.                   Nick

Answer
Hi Nicholas,

Use it at the recommend rate.  Sulfur is fairly low tox, and you need enough to inhibit fungal growth.

We will probably have seeds available sometime later in October to early November.  We are just now starting to collect some hardy drosera seeds and most Sarracenia are not ripe yet.

Good Growing!

PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR QUESTION:
We no longer answer how-to questions (i.e. How do I propagate...?; How do I grow...?).

Instead, we help growers by diagnosing a specific plant problem and offering solutions (i.e. Why is my sundew not producing dew?; Is now a good time to divide my Sarracenia?; Why are the traps turning black?; What's a good substitute for perlite?; Why didn't my seeds germinate?; Can you identify this carnivorous plant for me?)
