Question
Hi Jeff! When would be the best time to repot my adult
(6-7 year old) nepenthes ventrata? Also, what would be the best time to repot a drosera adelae?
Hi Victor,
When to repot Nepenthes depends on how old the soil is, and if the plant looks too crowded. If either of those are true, it's probably time to repot. March is a great time to repot, but with Nepenthes you can really do it any time. March is just nice because days are getting longer and growth picks up nicely on the plants. This is also true for the D. adelae. With the adelae, it's good to repot yearly since the soil is much wetter and tends to break down.
