Question
While I'm interested in taking advantage of your "Black Friday" sales offers for U.S. temperate plants (I'm in Zone 7), I'm concerned about what to do with them when they arrive.
Would I repot them before putting them outdoors, or would that disrupt things. I'm just afraid small pots would freeze solid.

Repotting them is fine. Getting them into larger pots is good, and will protect them better when you do get colder temperatures. Currently your temperatures are slightly warmer in D.C. than we are having here in Oregon. Our temperate plants have already had frosts this year. It was 27F last night. Mild freezes are of little concern even in small pots. For now you wouldn't need to do anything special with them. Later this month you would need to protect them. Low 20's and teens are when you need more protection.
