Question
I've read in you're instructions that carnivorous plants don't need much insects but I've seeing sarracenia flava stuffed with insects all the way. Is that bad ?
Hi Alberto,
No that's not bad. It's feeding well. It's also a good example of why you don't need to feed most carnivorous plants. The reason we talk about that is that many new growers get so engrossed in wanting to feed their plants, they think that is super important. As your now witnessing, it's not. Folks often think feeding their plants is more important than other factors such as light; it's not. I think you're getting the picture here. :)
