Question
I'm sorry I didn't know that they were different. I used a pond liner with forked holes in it. I don't water it by hand just rain. Also if it matters the plants are not planted in the bog yet. I also have some pea gravel and some dry sphagnum moss could I put some of that on top to keep weeds and moisture in?

Hi Clara,
Putting a top dressing on the bog will help some, the pea gravel doing the best job. However, you need to be prepared to water it in the summer. It's not going to be realistic to always expect it to rain enough during the heat of the summer.
