A few of the lids on the monkey cups have dried up. does this mean the cup is dead?

Hi Ted,

It looks like you just found a Nepenthes x deRoose's alata, (It would be labeled Nepenthes alata) at a store.  The transtion from store, to home has it adjusting.  You will have some pitcher loss.  It's normal.  Just keep it watered, and in that nice sunny window, and give it time.
