Hey guys I have a question which sundew would be better for a science fair project Dorsera intermedia Cuba or dosera Spatulata Fraser island in terms of how speedy they grow
This is a bit difficult to answer only because it depends on what you define as speedy growth. Both plants are native to tropical regions of similar temperatures and weather patterns. Both grow relatively quickly (or reach flowering maturity within a year from seed). The spatulata tends to form clumps of smaller plants, while the intermedia tends to grow into a single plant, but is overall larger than spatulata. So if you're looking for more plants in a shorter period of time, then the spatulata will be your best bet. If you're looking for a plant larger than spatulata, then you should go with intermedia.
