Carnivorous Plants/Drosera Binata Propogation

Question
Hello, I was curious if you've done root cutting for Drosera Bianta. If so, what size should the root should be when you cut it off from the mother plant to propagate vegetatively new Drosera Binats 'babies'?

I accidentally cut a piece of root off once while re-potting and it grew into a little Drosera Binata. So I was wondering what I had to do to achieve this success again.

Thanks!
