The Nepenthes Mira that I got from you a while ago, has not been producing pictures.   If  I am unable to give the plant temperatures below 60 degrees Fahrenheit.  Is there any thing I can do?  I am giving an light Orchid Fertizler 1/4 teaspoon per gallon. every two weeks.  I have it under CFl lights. The lights are about 4-6 inches away from the plant.  So that it gets full sun during the day and a cool down at night.   I followed http://en.allexperts.com/q/Carnivorous-Plants-711/2012/1/nepenthes-mira-producin to the tee. except for an enclosure.  Thank you for time.

Hi Weylin,

Actually, I gave you in the last response the most important ingredients you will need for this plant, time and patience.  As I write this we are on our annual vacation in Hawaii, and I put your question before Sam Estes, owner of the Leilani Hapu'u Nepenthes Nursery on the Big Island.  He has a Nepenthes mira in his highland facility at 3,000 feet elevation.  It has nice water glass sized pitchers on it.  This plant is 8 years old!  For a highland variety like mira, a couple weeks is like a second or two in it's time span.  They are just very slow growing.  If you are an impatient gardener, this is not your plant.  Best trade it off for an intermediate variety if you want faster growth.  What you're seeing is very normal for N. mira.
