Carnivorous Plants/nepenthes

What is wrong with my nepenthes lowii x campanulata it rarely pitchers but I have made it pitcher a couple of times also I have grew 2 buds on it.I give it direct sunlight for about 6-7 hours a day at the end of the day I bring it inside and mist it.Also I put long fibered sphagnum moss in it to keep some moisture in the soil it just has bark.

This hybrid prefers very stable conditions and bright lighting.  You might have better luck setting your plant in a very bright windowsill that receives several hours of direct sunlight and bright indirect light during the rest of the day.  If you keep moving it outdoors, you're exposing it to fluctuating humidity.  Again, this plant prefers very stable conditions.  If humidity fluctuates too much, it won't produce any pitchers.  Keep your plant in a brightly lit windowsill instead.

Good growing!

  • What's a good substitute for perlite?
  • Why didn't my seeds germinate?
