Carnivorous Plants/Growing nepenthes from seeds

I am prolly over my head for my experience level with carnivorous plants but I am ordering nepenthes seeds to try and grow myself at home. It was suggested to me to using sphagnum moss in a small pot and put a lot of seeds in one pot because the germination rate is low then put it in a Zip lock bag with a little bit of water on the bottom of the bag. Then put it in the sun.  Does this sound about right?

Hi Becky,

We don't have that much experience growing Nepenthes from seed, so I'm going to redirect you here:

I can tell you that Nepenthes have a very short viability period for their seed, so it's vital you know how old the seed is.  If it's more than a couple months old viability will be questionable.

Good Growing!
