Carnivorous Plants/Venus Fly Trap Feeding

Question
I think that my venus fly trap has spawned another fly trap next to it, so i have 2 questions. (1) Should i replant it in anohter pot, my pot isnt but about 5" in width (2) should i feed both of them once a month, b/c thats my feeding routine.. one bug a month to the trap. so now should i feed both plants 1 a month?
Hi Chip,
1. That is simply a new shoot coming off of the main rhizome. A 5" pot is large enough to accommodate it for another year. Consider moving to a larger pot next spring.
2. Your feeding routine is fine, although probably not necessary. It's very likely that the plants are attatched, so feeding one is feeding the other.
