Cat Food - Diet change for a cat; how about a pet sitter rather than kennel;

Question
Thank you for your answer.

I am taking a trip and leaving my two cats at a kennel.

My cats eat Purina Advanced Nutrition Hairball Formula.

At the kenel they will be fed Iams cat food.

Ist it OK for the animals to eat the Iams cat food or should I take a bag of the cat food they usually eat.

Thank you very much.

Answer
Is there any way you can take your own food ?  Tell them you would like them to stay on the same food.  Otherwise, the will get loose stools... Most kennels will allow you to bring your own food.
TOO much stress on the system to change over so quick!

Or, better yet!  GET a pet sitter to come to your home - The best thing is for the cats to stay home, if possible.
LOOK Up some pet sitters in the yellow pages....

BEST of luck
