Hi,
I have a cat who is very peculiar.  I have tried Science Diet, Wellness, Fancy Feast, and Newman's Own cat food.  I am trying to feed him a healthy cat food, but he won't eat but a bite.  He meows constantly for treats! I have read about making your own cat food, but I don't have time for that.  He did enjoy the Fancy Feast Grilled (little chunks) for a little while, but I am pretty sure that isn't a good kind.  Besides, he stopped it it, too.  Do you have any suggestions for me?

Hi Valerie ;  Well the Newman's Own cat food is not bad at all....  Also, here are some other good brands to try:  Innova ; Wellness; Solid Gold; Canidae; Evangers; - **all found in pet stores only.

Cat Food Recipe****
Finicky Feline Diet

•1 cup chopped cooked chicken
•1/2 cup cooked rice
•1/4 cup chopped carrot, cooked until tender - cut up small
•Chicken broth  at least 1/4 cup or more-
If you have a food processor / great - If NOT - cut everything up VERY small-

Process all ingredients in a food processor or blender with enough chicken broth to hold together. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. --------

Don't forget the NuVET Feline Vitamin powder /  at least 1/2 teaspoon in the am and 1/2 in the pm.  NuVET has No taste at all - hide it in some WET canned food or tuna fish.
