Hi Marie,

Our cat started crying after every meal this past year.  Prior to the crying she used to vomit frequently (2x per week) after eating her friskies canned wet food, but she didn't cry.  Then we changed her cat food, and though she quit vomiting she does cry every day about 10 minutes after she eats.  Its a pain type cry that lasts a couple of minutes than stops.

We have taken her to the vet, had her teeth cleaned and 2 pulled, that did not change it. We had blood tests ran, and everything is fine. Her poop is normal, and her urine output is normal.  We also changed her cat food to see if that had an affect.  We've tried fancy feast, wellness, organix, iams, and friskies.  She still crys.

I also noticed she licks her lips a bit too long after eating (not constantly, but for 5 minutes or so which I don't recall that going on so long before either).

Lastly we tried Pepsid. It seemed to work for 2 days, then the crying returned. We persisted with the Pepsid for 2 weeks to no avail.

Sometimes if she eats only a tablespoon of food at a time she doesn't cry, but that isn't always consistent (and very hard to do since we then have to feed her multiple times throughout the day).

She only gets wet food, though I did try Iams dry food just to see if she would cry with that, and she did.

Any suggestions? Any type of food recommendations?  We thought about trying one of the refrigerated brands that are closest to "mouse in a can" so to speak, but we haven't run that experiment yet.

Wow EVE!  POOR you and poor cat;  HOW about adding this supplement to your program:
PEARLS - you can get this at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, GNC -  it's a probiotic for her belly - it will reduce the excessive yeast in the belly.
Give 1 PEARLS per day for 60 days.

Also, try this food:  - Just order a sample of the wet food and see if it agrees with the belly?
