Cat Food/cat foods to prevent urrinary problems

I have 2 male cats who are 10 and 11 years old.They have been eatting the Wysony Vitality or Wysong Urretic most of there lives ever since they were kittens.They have done well on it through the years although recently they have had problems with it as they haven,t been wanting to eat it and act like they are getting bored of it.One cat has also had some problems with diarhea as I wonder if it might not be as fresh as it could be as the recent batch was 5 months old.Although I contacted Wysong and they said the food was fine and so maybe it is just my cats with these recent problems.I was wondering if you know of any other good cat foods that would help prevent urrinary prolems in cats besides Science diet and the Royal Canin brands.I have really liked the Wysong urretic as its a good health food for them and contains the probiotics.But I was just wondering if you know of any similiar senior cat foods that would compare to this and that would also protect their urrinary tract health.

Hi Marcie, You can bring in a stool sample, to rule-out any parasite or ova.
Otherwise, I wonder if you cats would like you to HOME cook for them?

| Comment | Thankyou very much for your advice.I took in a stool sample of one of my cats to check for parasites.Otherwise maybe they just have some kind of stomach upset going on.Although they aren,t too ill as it could be worse.Hopefully they will be better soon otherwise I will perhaps consider home cooking for them as you suggested.But in the past they have always enjoyed their Wysong food but I notice that the fresher it is the better they like it. thanks again,Marcie | ||
