Question
hi,one day i seen a black cat at a fast food place i took off to see it and it came to me i picked it up and took it home she is a great cat but i seen she has two teeth i know she was beat or hit by a car there is a busy road by the place we got her but she has very bad breath why? if she was beat or hit by a car why does she have bad breath? i am sorry if this is a vets question thanks.

Answer
The cat really needs to be taken to a veterinarian as soon as possible, as it may need to be on antibiotics, etc.  The cats teeth and mouth will need to be examined by a vet to determine the extent of any injuries.  The cat will also need to be started on vaccinations and checked for intestinal parasites.  I would recommend taking it to a vet as soon as you possibly can.

Experience

I have done research on the relationship between feline diet and feline diabetes due to my personal experience in dealing with one of my own cats. I am a pet lover and always have numerous cats and dogs. I believe in feeding a high quality and by-product free diet. Diet alone cured my diabetic cat as well as either cured or significantly helped many others.
