Catholics/Convert to cotholism

Question
I'm dating a Spanish man whose family is very religious. Since I am Swedish by birth him a protestant. We are talking about marriage but to make that possible I need to covert to catholics. To do that officious I need to find out more about it. One thing that concerns me is there view on women. Can you help me on were I can find out more information and study before making my final decision?

You NEED or want to convert to Catholicism?  The first thing I'd advise is to go to a local Catholic parish and speak with the priest.  They'll guide you in your formation.
What exactly about the Catholic Church concerns you on their view on women?  As a former Protestant myself, my 11 years as a Catholic has shown me that the revere women more than Protestants, starting with the Blessed Virgin Mary.
