Question
if in fact the catholic denomination is the best representation of Christianity then why do you pass out irrelevant beads? Christ never did..in fact he corrected people when they would serve tradition in a ridiculous man made way..like when he told the pharisees that the Sabbath was made for man..not man for the Sabbath...in saying that, why do you call your priest father, when you and i both know what Jesus plainly stated about that.....thank you for your time.

Answer
Dear Connor,

I think that prayer must be free and spontaneous.
So each of us must pray the way he /she feels, and nobody can force him/her to pray one way or another way.
I never pray with rosary beads, because this is not what I feel.
Many catholics never use rosary beads. Other catholics feel to pray that way, with rosary beads. I think we  must respect one another.

For the rest, I see no evil in calling the priest father; I am the father of four children, and I see no evil in being called father by my children.
The priest is considered a spiritual father, in the sense he can give spiritual teachings. Nothing more.
By the way, I am italian, and in Italy pratically nobody calls any more the priest "father".

Your brother in Christ,

I am a catholic physicist and I am married with four children. I can give a scientific proof of the existence of the soul. I am very interested in the following issues: faith and science, rational proof of the existence of God, christianity versus other religions, the Bible, protestantism versus catholicism, miracles. Probably you will find interesting my answers to questions such as: "How can I know that God exist?", "How can I know that catholicism is the true religion?", "Why does evil exist?", "Who created evil?", "Why does Hell exist?", "Why did Jesus have to suffer on the Cross?" , "If God knows everything, why did He create those souls who go to Hell?"
