Question
What is the official RCC view of the Eastern Orthodox Church. Is there salvation in her?

Answer
Michael,
Thanks for your question.  I can't give you the RCC view of the Eastern Orthodox Church, other than these citations below.  The Vatican has been clear about our brothers in the Eastern Church:

-- speech made by Pope John Paul II at Golan Heights, May 2001:  http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/john_paul_ii/speeches/2001/documents/hf_jp-ii_... -- there's a reunion between the two.

-- there's more unity than there are differences:  http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/pontifical_councils/chrstuni/sub-index/index_o...  and from 2000:

http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/pontifical_councils/chrstuni/ch_orthodox_docs/...

I hope this answers your question.
God bless,
Charlie
