              Do you know who the antichrist is? I some what in a way dont like Barack Obama because he is a Muslim not christian! Barack “Hussein” Obama scares the bejesus out of me! Why? He’s a smooth talker and it says that in the bible that the antichrist will be a smooth talker I feel in my soul that he is the AntiChrist.

He's too good to believe. ... If Barack Obama runs and wins in 08' It will truely spell the doom for America an the christians because he is religious in a different eye he is Muslim and that is not good. On Sunday, Barack Obama announced what everyone already knew: he's "considering" a presidential run in 2008.

With Mark Warner out and Rudy Gulinani also out what will happen and an early field dominated by guys who haven't realized that their candidacy is toast before the game even starts (Evan Bayh? John Kerry?), Obama might fill that … centrist … er, liberal … void … look, he may vie with John Edwards for the role of not-Hillary. Runner-up gets the VP slot.

That leaves one key question on everybody's minds: would an Obama run bring about the End Times? Now, I'm not going to express my personal views about this because … well, because it's a matter of religion and I'm worried and concerned about the faq that Oboma may indeed bring about the End Times!

Did anyone read the TIME Magazine article on Obama?

It really creeped me out. At one of Obama's speaking engagements he was introduced in the following way: "He's all of us! He's not black! He's not white! He's not …" The speaker then faltered and realized that she was about to say that He's not male or female.

This kind of a description for anyone is worrysome. I believe that this is exactly how antichrist will be… Not to mention that everything seems to be falling into place for end-times events to occur. Just my humble opinion.

Yes, I believe he will win in 08 and we will be finished by 2012. I feel in my soul that he is the AntiChrist. He's too good to believe. Where did he come from? Where did his name come from? Hillary Clinton scares me at least as much.  The infamous "Health Care Plan" with which she terrorized the nation for much of the year 1994 was the nearest thing to the Mark of the Beast ever to occur in the milieu of American politics.  That was the real reason for the Republican surge back in that year, not Gingrich's "Contract with America"!
However, in all seriousness it is not fitting to look to politics to find fulfillment of Biblical prophecy, for when the things really prophesied come upon us the present or near future scenario will seem quite tame by comparison.
Once again I would point you to standard catechetical sources for you reading, such as Fr. Ripley's "This is the Faith," or Bp. Morrow's "My Catholic Faith."  Only lazy minds and spirits squander time with prophetic speculations.
