Catholics/Bible Prophecies

Question
Are the prophecies in the bible clearly related to the history of the world?  Or are the Chrisitan apologists try to put the pieces together where they don’t fit?  Can the bible be presented as an authentic book based on it’s prohecies?

Answer
Dear Lenin,

I do not think biblical prophecies can be clearly related to the specific historic events because the profecies were written to teach that some kind of event would have happened, but they never specifies the dates when they should have happened. So the interpretation of prophecies is always a matter of faith. This is because prophecies were written to confort and teach believers (i.e. those who already believed) and not to convince unbelievers.

I am a catholic physicist and I am married with four children. I can give a scientific proof of the existence of the soul. Probably you will find interesting my answers to questions such as: "How can I know that God exist?", "How can I know that catholicism is the true religion?", "Why does evil exist?", "Who created evil?", "Why does Hell exist?", "Why did Jesus have to suffer on the Cross?" , "If God knows everything, why did He create those souls who go to Hell?"
