Question
I was at a mass recently and the priest was saying that according to a reading from Deuteronomy( I forget the actual verse), we are all priests and are able to offer sacrifice. Any thoughts on this?

Answer
Not even the Jews of the Old Testament believed that, as they had a separate priesthood to offer sacrifice.  Remember Moses' brother, Aaron?  He was a priest and offered sacrifice, not even Moses.

We strongly suspect that the person you described is not in fact a priest in the traditional sense, but a presbyter of the New Order sect, which does not hold to traditional Catholic doctrine (as this case would indicate).  If you are relating his point accurately and completely, he appears to have been teaching a defined heresy.  You need to find a traditional Catholic church where you can be edified by traditional Catholic doctrine uncorrupted by the New Order.  If you do not know such a location, there is a list at www.traditio.com/nat.htm.
