What is you opionion on speakin in tongues? Do you think catholics can speak in tongues? What do you think it takes to talk in tongues?

Catholics do believe in this gift of the Holy Spirit.

I have never pondered "what it takes" to talk in tongues, realizing that there are many gifts of the holy spirit.  I've just presumed that if the Spirit was to give me that gift, then I'd know it at the time :)

Frankly, I do not think that this is a gift that a person can "try" to get.  It's up to God what gifts each of us have.
