I am 69 years old and a converted Catholic

I found myself talking to Jehovah Witnesses .in 2003
I started having bible studies with them and I found it very hard to digest

I have caused waves in my family, as I now do not celebrate Christmas or Birthdays

This lapsed until late last year

I met a guy in 2006 and invited him to share my home, as he had no home of his own.

However the Jehovah's Witnesses started to call again
and  bible studies started again as he was interested. As he was brought up as Plymouth Brethren
And he wants to know the truth
Whilst I am happy to read and study the bible I am finding it difficult to find that the Catholic Teachings I had are untrue.

I have been to one meeting but I cannot get involved.
However David is becoming more and more involved with them and is having extra studies and I cannot share this with him
I except our relationship must be platonic, but I am finding myself more and more alone
I cannot come between him and Jehovah

Thank you for sharing. You didn't actually ask a question. I will just say that your friend David is becoming involved in a cult. If you can come in between him and the JW's you will be doing him a favor. Let me know if I can help. I will pray for you and David.
