Can I change God's will for me by my prayer's?

Dear Lonnie,

God knows everything, past, present and future.
He knows your prayers before you begin to pray. So you can never change His will, because your prayer was already foreseen. God always does what is good. Sometimes we do not understand the reason of some events, which appear as bad, but we must always be trustful. We must trust God more than ourselves.
We must accept His will, because His will is certainly good and just, while our will is often corrupted by egoism, pride and vanity.
In fact Our Lord taught us to pray: "Your will be done"

PS I think that faith cannot come only from logic, because to have faith in God means to trust and love God.
I think however that logics and science prove the existence of our soul and the existence of  God and that there are many rational arguments strongly supporting the christian faith.
