Catholics/Return of Christ

Question
one of my lutheran friend says that catholic doesn't believe in return of Christ , is it true ?

Answer
We most certainly do believe in the return of Christ, though such concepts as the "Rapture" (a surprisingly recent idea), of people disappearing and so forth, along with attempts to map details of Revelation to current events are not Catholic understandings of how the end times are slated to be.
Hope this helps, God bless!

Years of extensive research, thought, and prayerful meditation on many of the issues that trouble Catholics today, taught catechetical classes to teenagers and adults, answered many questions already.
