Catholics/Why God created man? - Follow Up

QuestionHi,
You wrote that the reason of God creating man is similar to couples wanting to have children in order to have fellowship. Couples want children because they need emotionally and it is a result of sexual union. Isn't God free of all wants? Then why did God create? You wrote that we humans want our children to be good and other good qualities. But why God creates many children with physical disformities? Why He doesn't seem to be kind just as a good parent is kind to his/her children?
Regards
AnswerHave you ever heard the saying that "God is love"? It is love that desires a universe full of beings capable of making their own choices and of choosing to love each other and their Creator. The desire for such a scenario is no actual need, as if God would starve etc., but a wish that we humans, by virtue of our own makeup as well, also share (though it may in many cases be overwhelmed by other desires).
As to physical deformities, Jesus Himself was asked why a certain man was born blind, as to whether it was the sins of the man himself or of his parents. Instead of answering the question, He said it was neither the sins of the man nor of his parents, but so that "the works of God be manifest in him" and He cured him. I am sorry, but if the Church has since formulated some answer to the question He did not answer then I don't know what it is.
One thing that I have seen (as to that and your last question) is that God often works through some few chosen individuals instead of applying His remedies and guidance directly to all persons. Why that should be I don't know but it is that way. He revealed the Ten Commandments (and whole Mosaic Law) to Moses, not to all the people directly. He came to earth as Jesus Christ personally, not every man woman and child. Those who were within earshot of Him heard Him preach; but those who were not had to hear through the disciples, if they heard at all. I can only assume that perhaps this is all some kind of test of love. Certainly, at least in the resurrection if nowhere else, God can and will put all things right, and the reasons for all that was will become clear, but until then we ask the whys and wherefores of our own trials, knowing that the definitive answer will not come until then.
Hope this helps, and sorry for the delay, God bless!
