Expert: Fr. Michael - 10/8/2009

Question
is it true that catholic priests can be gay and still serve as a priest? can they still have homosexual desires, feeings, and longings and yet still perform mass?

Answer
It is illicit to ordain one who does not have the moral requisites for ordination.  You should discuss this with your traditional Catholic confessor.  If you do not have one, see the geographical list in the Official Traditional Catholic Directory at www.traditio.com/nat.htm.
