Father, why doesn't the Church say the Leonine prayers after the new mass, except for the traditional low mass?
How come the Church doesn't promote women wearing veils anymore?

Nothing to prevent any Priest or congregation from praying the Leonine prayers after the Ordinary Form of Mass; but they are not prescribed by the rubrics. My understanding is that they were already optional and not required in the 1962 EF Mass. But they are great prayers, and it would not surprise me if they, or some set of prayers liek them, might again be prescribed after Mass by the current Pope. But, I don't know...
I encourage women to wear veils, but it does not seem to be prescribed... at the same time, just because the law for wearing them was not contained in the 1983 Code of Canon Law (they were required by the 1917 Code) does not mean that veils were prohibited. Just because a custom that was once legislated is no longer explicitly legislated does not mean it is not worthy of still being practiced. The ironic thing about women veiling their heads is that it is a clear Biblical injunction directly attested to in the writings of St. Paul the Apostle.

I serve 3-small, rural Parish Communities in Easter North Dakota
I converted to the Roman Catholic Church in 1981, at the age of 15.
Over the years I have done work as an organist, cantor, and choir director for the Latin Rite (English & Latin) Mass (Liturgy of the Eucharist), and even for the Hours of the Divine Office.
I have worked as a cantor for a Melkite Byzantine Catholic Church.
Presently my pastoral and administrative duties as a Catholic Priest do not allow me as much time as I used to have to devote to Sacred Music; but for my weekend Masses and Solemnities within my Tri-Parish, I offer High Sung Mass in English. Weekday Mass is typically Low Mass (recited Mass) in English, though on occasion I will offer the "Tridentine Mass" in Latin, which I usually offer on my "Day Off", as well. And now, in light of the "Motu Proprio" by his Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI placing the extraordinary usage of the Roman Rite back into the mainstream of the Catholic Church, I have been offering a regularly scheduled SUN, 2:00 PM Tridentine Latin Mass with a community of the faithful that has a stable existence.
