About Sal
Expertise I love the Catholic Church and her book, the Bible. I will try to answer your questions with an emphasis on God*s Word. I can also explain the beliefs of Jehovah*s Witnesses, Mormons, and Seventh Day Adventists as related to Catholic doctrine.

Question I was baptized in the Catholic church, and have received all sacraments with the exception of Holy Orders and matrimony. I left the church some time ago in order to find the Holy Spirit. I'm finding there is a pressure from certain spirit-filled churches to become baptized in water. If I do this, what are the consequences as a Catholic? Am I renouncing my baptismal vows? Will I be excommunicated?
Answer Dear mchris:
This is one of the strangest questions that I have ever received. You left the Catholic Church to walk among heretical churches to "find the Holy Spirit". Now you are concerned with being excommunicated from the Church that you voluntarily deserted some time ago? I don't understand why you should care?
