Question
QUESTION: when mary assumption occured.why it is not mentioned by apostles in bible?without mary there is no salvation for us?

ANSWER: Dear Arun:

We do not know for sure when the Assumption actually occurred. The Assumption may not be mentioned in the New Testament because Mary may not have been assumed until later. Another reason may be, as you stated, that Mary was not related to salvation so it was not deemed necessary to make mention of it. Some would say that the Assumption was mentioned in the Book of Revelation when St. John saw the Blessed Virgin Mary in heaven. "A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars" (Revelation 12:1).

QUESTION: if st.jhon really saw the mary in the heaven why it was not mentioned in the bible

Answer
Dear Arun:

I'm not saying that John did actually see Mary as the woman in Revelation 12:1. Some people say that the "woman" was Mary. This is based on v. 5: "She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne." They reason since in the vision the woman gives birth to the Messiah she must be Mary who in real life gave birth to the Messiah.
