Question
One traditional priest teaching a marriage class at a Catholic university said, in answer to a question, that a married person may look at "impure pictures" if that person "refers those feelings" to his or her spouse.  What is the validity of that answer for married persons?

Answer
In the first place, what you call a "Catholic university" isn't a traditional Catholic institution, as we are unaware of any traditional Catholic institution today that calls itself a "university."  Therefore, you are not speaking with a "traditional priest" either.  It appears, rather, that you are dealing with an institution and clergy of the New Order sect.  It was almost certainly as a result of this situation that you got such an answer from a untraditional source.
