Question
is religious experience basically a knowing,a feeling, or a willing?

Answer
Peace

dear Kel,

Since man has a soul, all things are some degree spiritual. With the use of reason, one can come to conclude there is but one God and somethings about God.  Faith allows us to know Him as Holy Trinity.

For example, I know about George Washington. I know my best friend.

In both the Old Testament and the New, we are told we are to love God with our whole mind, heart, and soul and all our strength. With that in mind, I believe if we keep the right balance between them, the experiences some people call religious are a healthy encounter with God and what He desires for us.

Also I study Franciscan History as means of growing in my lay Franciscan calling to holiness in Christ.
