Question
Hello,  I was married at 18 years old and divorced a short time later.  I was remarried at 22 and divorced again. I am now single and intend on remaining so. I am beginning the RCIA process and was wondering if I am required to obtain an annullment from my first marriage?  Thank you

Answer
RCIA is a program of the New Order sect.  It is far Catholic in any traditional sense.  As the profile indicates, I am a traditional Catholic priest and therefore do not hold with the New Order and its teaching, which often violate Catholic teaching.  You should refer your question to the people involved with your RCIA training, just as if you were a Methodist, you should refer your question to your Methodist minister.
