Experience I was a Baptist preacher, Bible teacher, and evangelist for 15 years before converting to the Catholic Church in 1992.
As a Catholic I have been teaching Bible, Catechetics, apologetics, and evangelism for 14 years. I also have 24 years of pastoral counseling experience and 14 years experience as a Catholic Spiritual Director.
I have been in deliverance ministry since 1986 as a Baptist. After converting to the Catholic Church I continued the spiritual warfare work including counseling, writing, consulting, and teaching workshops, and training Deliverance Counsellors.
In 2002 we began a new apostolate called the St. Padre Pio Center for Deliverance Counseling. This agency offers counseling to those persons who are demonized, and offers training for people who feel called by God to become Deliverance Counsellors. As director of the St. Padre Pio Center I was featured in a series of interviews on Spirtual Warfare on Ave Maria Radio.

Question what was the original form of these prayers?
Is it essential to precede them with the Our Father and Hail Mary?
Where these part of the original format or revelation or added later? I ask this because if a person already prays a lot that they may not have time to complete them.
Answer Dear Michael:
The 15 Prayers of St. Bridget is a personal devotional prayer. Like all devotional prayers, including the Rosary, the Church does not regulate them. The Church only regulates liturgical prayer--the Mass and the Divine Office.
Thus, being a personal devotional prayer one can pray them any way one wants. The prayers can be altered, wording modified, sections added, or sections removed as one pleases.
As far as I know the prayers of St. Bridget are as you typically see them.
You must remember that you are not a monk, thus you have to pick and choose what prayers you will recite. You cannot have time to pray everything that you want as you have other duties and responsibilities. You must decide and pick the ones you have time for.
You can alternate. For example, pray prayers A, B, C, on Monday and Wednesdays and prayers D, E, F on Tuesdays and Fridays. But, no matter how you organize it, you will not have time to pray everything, and thus must make some choices.
