Question I am Roman Catholic. In a prior marriage I had a Mormon wedding. I have been divorced for 4 years and am now engaged to a Roman Catholic. We would like to have a Catholic wedding. Is an annulment necessary? I understand the process can take 1-3 years and people are advised to wait. At my age however, we want to start a family and that is not a very realistic option.
Answer Peace
dear Alicia-
Actually annulment process length can be long or short, related to the facts of each case. Its seems to me, in your case it shouldn't take very long, maybe 1-3months not 1-3 years. Its a matter confirming the facts your have shared with me and related facts.
