Question
hi sir ,i want to know that jesus christ said there is no past life but why the american lady got a bad face at the age of 18 .is it because of her sins .i had seen this on axn a few years back .please answer

Answer
Sacred Scripture is quite explicit that we are appointed to die once, and then after that comes the Judgment (Hebrews 9:27).
Jesus was once asked about a man who was born blind.  "Is this man born blind because of his own sins or for the sins of his parents?"  His response was that neither one of those was the cause.  He then cured the man.
Each of us is born with whatever strengths and weaknesses we are to live with, and the real measure of life is how we deal with our situation, whatever it is, and not what we have or what happens to us.  To be born with a defect or born blind or any other condition is an opportunity to rise above the limitation and fulfill the exact destiny that God has intended.  People with such limitations can find productive work, can find love, can find a circle of friends, can have worthwhile lives, and if anything are only all the more likely than those born without any apparent problems for they actually have to work at it, and in so working make their lives more worthwhile than those who never had any problems to overcome.
Hope this helps, God bless!
