Catholics/Dogmatic vs. Pastoral

Question
What are the differences between a Dogmatic and Pastoral Constitution? Are Dogmativ Constitutions necessarily Infallible proclomations? Why or why not?

Answer
I suspect that you are referring implicitly to the status of Vatican II, which had no dogmatic authority.  There is an excellent article on this point, "What Is the Authority of Vatican II?" at http://www.traditio.com/tradlib/faq08.txt to which we refer you for detailed information on this subject.
