Catholics/Moral Theology for the Laity

Question
Father, is there a manual/book that you could recommend that covers moral theology? Perhaps something standard you used when you were in seminary. Something cut and dry and in lamens terms. I tried looking up a couple topics in the Summa Theologica and it really caused my brain hurt. I was more confused afterwards than I was before.

Answer
You might try Fr. John Laux's A Course in Religion, Volume III - Catholic Morality.  This was written for Catholic high-schoolers in the 1930s.  Given the ignorance of the Faith in current times, it would be now be equivalent to an upper-division college course!
